setting up business,the next of many important tasks is to develop
quality leads for yourbusiness. So where do you start? You could

33. Are you better off….

On the average, I do not like to impose my political views into my business community,
but this I had  to address because I think that it is very revealingabout the mentality
shift in our Country.

Recently a presidential candidate asked  the question to a group of people:

“Are you better off than you were 4 or 8 years ago,under this administration?”

The underlying situation he is stating is “ I could do better”. That’s fine,
I understand the campaign game, and I am fine with it.

I would return the question by asking “compared to what”? I can hardly count how
many products and services have been created over the last 4-8 years, and brought
to market that save time and money, that I could spend days on just that subject
alone. I’ll just interject that if you are reading this on a blog or found it using
google.com, these are just two services or platforms that have been brought to fruition,
in the last 4-8 years.

So the answer to the question for me, is “absolutely”.

Here is what really bugs me. The question was specifically aimed at your fiscal
situation, and the insinuation is again “I can do better or, I can help you more”.

I think that it’s interesting how people put so much emphasis and buy into a statement
like that. Honestly, other than raising or dropping taxes,how much effect does a President
or Politician really have when it comes to your bottom line or “Pocket Book”.

It is not their responsibility and never has been, to make your life comfortable. The bill
of rights states that you have an unalienable right to “The Pursuit of Happiness” and says
nothing about providing happiness, and I wouldn’t want to have it any other way. I am very
excited to live in a time when you can very quickly take your future into your owns hands
in a free enterprise society.

I just think that is sad that someone who is supposed to be in a role model situation has
to get you to follow him or her by continuously saying how bad your situation in life is,
and insinuates that if you elect them than everything will be better.

It’s about your American dream and making it happen yourself, go get it done.

As the U.S. copes with a light recession, fear based middle class thinking has
swept the consciousness of the masses. This is not for you! Great fortunes are
made during tough economic times, but only by mentally tough world class thinkers.
While most people are tightening up on spending and sitting on their savings like a
mother hen on her eggs, the great ones are getting richer by taking advantage of the

36. Bunk Leads??


The Network marketing, multilevel marketing, and working from home industry is booming.
The challenge that I see is that a lot of people are putting the cart before the horse, before
they even get started. What is your product or service? Who cares? If you don't learn how to
market it, or get it in front of other people it will not do anything for you or them.

37. The importance of your list

I was talking with a friend of mine the other day about the economy and the gloom and doom
blasting through the media. The topic came up about taxes. We both agreed that starting a
home based business simply for the tax deductions was a no brainier, (common sense, right)?
Then we both agreed that common sense was not very common anymore. Really,…. starting a
home based or internet business can instantly move you into another tax bracket all together.

38. The Myth of Motivation.

The self help industry is booming. In fact it’s a 9 Billion Dollar industry, and one of the
reasons people invest in Books, Cd’s, MP3’s, website subscriptions, seminars, motivational
speakers and on and on and on.

One word, “Motivation”.

“How do I get motivated”?

Thousands of hours and tens of millions of dollars have been spent on motivational speakers,
posters, books, etc,to get motivated. Have you ever been in room with 30 people chanting,
Juice, Juice, Juice, at 8:30 in the morning. Kind of weird.

People are constantly placing the cart before the horse when it comes to motivation in, my opinion.
I don’t know about you but I have only heard from a couple of sources “the real Secret” of motivation,
a couple of times over the years and it is so simple, that it gets over looked all the time. Here it is,
you ready, save your money by the way.

Get Moving!!!Just go!!!

Nothing is more motivating than creating momentum.

So, if you have just started a new business, and it forces you to make contact with strangers
over the phone, and it scares the crap out of you. Don’t worry about it. If you are scared that
you are going to face rejection, plan on it, it is going to happen. If you are scared that they
are going to hang up on you, hang up on them first. Hang up on the first 20. The point is once
you get going it’s like you develop Rhino skin and those phobia begins to disappear.

The point is that unless you are running for your life from a fire or a wild animal, motivation
rarely comes from external sources. It is created from within.
